one night on a berth in the marina with electric, water, showers etc. = Euro

25! Anchoring was free 3 years ago.
The town of Vila Baleira was being developed 3
years ago and is now very inviting to the visitor. A lovely shady area by
the main square has Wi-Fi, good food in the numerous cafes and is a short walk
from the old pier and the sandy beach, which is good to swim from.
Having completed our wall painting of B.M. on the
harbour wall, Madeira was a short days sail away, the highlight being a visit
from a long fined pilot whale, which slowly rose 5 -6 times, blowing huge spouts
each time - magical.
