Just after I finished writing that daily log, the engine decided to cut out again! We tried pumping through the fuel again but this time it hasn't worked, despite trying several times, and are now sailing, barely making 4 knots. It has been a very frustrating last few days! Just when the finishing line was in sight, it has now moved about 6 hours at least backwards!
We are not too worried about sailing into Horta. Another option is to change the fuel filters and see if that helps.
It is really very frustrating to be going so slowly with the end so near in sight!
