Thu 28 Jan 2010 01:45
Well the first leg of this trip is done and in position 14:36n
072:27w we turned from our course of 282 to one of 250 for the next 250nm We are
keeping 150nm off the coast line for the bad wave conditions that will occur
closer and to try and keep out of the view of pirates operating out of
Columbia
We are also just about to complete 5000nm since leaving
Gibraltar in October
We have put 3 reefs in the main and have left it closed hauled
to balance the boat and try and stop the rocking the starboard bat wing is well
back and the port jib pole is well forward and has a small handkerchief
flying
J and Edith worked well changing the sail this afternoon and
it is now time for a sundowner
