It turns out that our power failure of yesterday was the result of an
electrical fire and there are melted wires everywhere. It might take a while
to get somebody in to fix it up.
There are worse places to be stuck than Aruba at Carnival time. The boat
will soon become uninhabitable without power or water so if news dries up
for a while it is because I've not been able to charge up my laptop or
phone.
