Losing track of time, but that is the date on the log, so that is about three days out. It has been a real roller coaster ride, with the night on the 23rd particularly rough: 30 kts continuous. As a result we have a new daily record of exactly 160 nm.Since then it has been brighter, with plenty of blue sky, but squalls several times a day. The boat is behaving very well, and it was calm enough this morning to bake some bread. Unfortunately the 'passed its sell by date'  Australian flour was certainly a bit off, but next I have some fresher stuff, though not as tasty. Anyway lovely crusty hot bread for lunch: good for moral. 134 nm today, so still a very good speed. Several big ships yesterday, but nothing on my 'seame' for 24 hours now. With these big swells, the horizon is not far away, and the radar detector really is a good thing. It wouldn't pick up another yacht, but then there aren't any out here!
