Saturday 25 June - position 44
Thanks to Dad's emails to France he managed to fix
the autohelm. I can't explain what a relief that is! I almost want to hold
my breath as i write this.
Despite the lack of auto helm dad described
yesterday evening as his 'best hour ever' on the helm! He was consistently
getting 9 to 10 knots out of the boat.
The wind has dropped slightly, now 13 to 15
knots and is once again SSW which is good for us as we are trying to avoid
a hole to our East. We are doing 060 degrees at a speed of
about 6 knots.
