Sardinia at last

We arrived off Sardinia mid morning today, after a 480 mile slog across the Med from Cartagena. There was no wind for the first 48 hours, then when it filled in it was on the nose & we spent a frustrating day on Tuesday bashing into a lumpy sea and getting almost nowhere.

We have now made a quick pit stop for fuel in Sardinia and are continuing east towards the Straits of Messina - 300 miles away.

We are all well on board and enjoying the sunshine - last night’s quiz night was a welcome addition to the entertainment programme.

Fray Bentos steak pie for supper tonight - not everyone’s favourite, but needs must after 2 weeks at sea!
