Despite ordering a taxi the night before to take us for our 10 o clock appointment he failed to turn up

 

We evetually hailed a local guy, Raymond, who turned out to be a star and managed to avoid the traffic by taking us on a wonderful tour of the backstreets to get us to the embassy on time. We then waited our turn and eventually got the nod that our application had been successful about a hour and a half later. The faithful Raymond was waiting to take us on a quick tour of Bridgetown and then home to Mike and Cara

 

Mission accomplished

 

A great meal cooked by our hosts followed happy hour at a local beach bar
