It is 08 30 on the 31^st of June and we are heading towards the start line for Rally Portugal , the 15 boats are all milling around the start line in front of Plymouth Yacht club , the wid will be down wind a very light , so we think we may need to get the Chute ready to use if the wind drops any more , at exactly 0900 we cross the line with four other boats three of which are using either spinnakers or cruising chutes, and so we are off the weather is  Sunny and the wind is in the best direction giving us a  good reach , but the strength drop so we put up the chute. We head in the direction of France towards the Ushant traffic separation scheme.
