Yellowdrama IV
Skipper/Crew: Blake and Clarissa Richter

Hi All!

Just a quick update to let you all know that tropical storm Grace has passed
us fairly quietly really.. we had a barometric reading of 991Mb at 04:30
this morning along with rain showers and pretty rough seas..Blake and Steve
were really happy with the accuracy of their barometric readings on their
watches compared to the boat barometer!

We are still heading towards the UK via the Bay of Biscay. We are going to
get hit with 30 knot northerlies for a short time in a few days but just
have to get through it! We have altered course to minimise the time we have
in this bad weather.
The weather fax and satellite phone have been very valuable on this trip!!

The day turned out to be beautiful with plenty of sunshine which all the
crew made the most of.. drying out wet weather gear and topping up tans!
4o'clock tea time was a treat as Clarissa and Sasha remembered that we had a
bar of portugese Nata in the fridge ( Like a custard tart but much nicer!!)
so it was very civilised on deck with a cup of tea, cake and sunshine!!
Mark has stuck his camera to the mast with duct tape and is hoping to record
high seas and general cameraderie of the yellowdrama crew in the
cockpit!

Everyone is still in good spirits and preparing ourselves for the rough ride
ahead!

Write again soon!

Blake, Clarissa, Sasha, Steve, Andrew and Mark!

ps We are still trying to work out who the malteasers thief is too!
