39:36.9N 52:47.1W - Rough Night

Yellowdrama IV

Hi Bloggers,

It was a rough one last night.  Finally the wind swang around to the South (what we have been waiting for!) and built up.  It tipped it down with rain for what seemed like forever...  We are now on the 3rd reef with just the staysail and maintaining 8 knot average speeds.  Wind isn't that strong (25 - 32Kt)  but the sea has become short, steep and a bit unconfortable.  Never mind, at least we are flying along again with the engine off.

All crew are tired but in one piece.  The sun has just come out and it is warm on deck.
