Over half way across the Atlantic and between the
beautiful bursts of sunshine we are also being treated with squalls, full of
high winds and plenty of rain.... The upside to these squalls is the good speeds
we are getting out of the boat & also the sight of complete stunning
rainbows, we able to see the full arch of the rainbow. But more
impressively we are seeing the rainbows at night under the light
of the full moon - 'a moon-bow'. We celebrated our halfway
status with an ice lolly that Clarissa managed to delve out from the bottom of
the freezer - Heaven!!
With all these squalls - life down below has been
very rocky. The making of a cuppa tea or a 'cupa soup' is interesting. One of
the cupa soups was left unattended for a moment & managed to fly at full
speed across the saloon spraying every-thing in its path & introducing a new
smell to the saloon. Umm.. delightful!!
Just spotted our first yacht on the horizon for a
week!! Seems to be heading in the same direction but we are whizzing past
them!
1138 miles to go!! Just turned over the chart to
see our destination, Yay ..
PS. Just had another soup drama!! Soup is now
BANNED..........
