The good news is, apart from a couple of items, all our essential tasks are done and I am busy adding optional ones to my list. The essential items remaining are as follows:

• Final provisioning: Janet did most of the non perishable provisioning last weekend
• Final tuning of the rig and pinning the rigging. With Mark Haugans (he is a broker at HSH Yachts but a former rigger) help we plan to tune the rig today and I can then pin it tomorrow
• Undertake a quick-haul so we can clean through-hull fittings, check zincs, clean the dynaplate, and, most of all, fix a pesky leak at the stern tube which can really only be done when the boat is out the water. This is planned now for next week.

Last weekend, in addition to the provisioning, we fitted new turning blocks for the Aries windvane, mounted the EPIRB and hand-held VHF radio, installed new  halyards and cleats for these, fitted new stereo speakers in the cockpit and hung most of the curtains.
