Good evening U all !  :-)

We are getting closer and closer to The Azores and a juicy steak at some good restaurant.
The subjects of discusion aboard circles more and more around what we are going to eat when we get ashore!

Since the weather right now is to rugh for lighting up the grill we all talk about meat !  :-)
Not that there would be anything wrong withthe food here, it is just the lack of meat that is bugging us.
Maby this is a good time to stop eating meat and become vegetarian too?
Enviromentaly that would be a good thing to do.

(but a good steak is sooooooooooooooooooooo good)

Another thing is that we don´t drink any coffe. I´ve had two cups since we left Ft.Lauderdale.
And the first few days I had a slight headache, but now I feel fine and I don´t feel any crawings at all.

Right now we are doing around 8 knots and we are beating in to a pretty rough NE wind that blows around
20-30 knots. The boat is leaning about 20 degrees to lea and everything we do, we do with one hand
for the boat one hand for ourselves.
It is important to have something to hold on to so you don´t hurt yourself or get injured.
Especially in the kitchen when cooking.
That can be really dagerous if you´re not careful enough!

I was sitting here thinking of my other little boat at home and how she would ride theese waves.
(pretty big ones, around 12 fett some of them)
Would be fun to sail her here to see.

You can compare the two boats on the pics.
I like red boats !  ;-)

We also heard about another boat. A catamaran. That unfortunatly dimasted some days ago.
Must be awful to go by engin now.
Poor sods! :-(
I feel for them.

The sail setting right now is, reefed mizzen, reefed main and staysail.
On that combination she rides well for the moment.

The computer aboard says that we have little more that a day left to Horta.
Feels good.
But as always. It is up to the wind and sea to decide that.
We can only make the best out of every given situation.  :-D

Please fiorgive my poor english and bare with me in the future too.

Have a wounderful evening now.

Your Capt´n on the high seas
