No fun just tacking around in the Celtic
sea.
It is not THAT beautiful.
Seems the winds are going to stay easterly for
another year or so.
So, goodbye midsummer in Stockholm.
This takes so much time and the boat is not made
for tacking I can tell you that.
The best she can preform is 55 degrees to the wind.
The very best.
But she is comfortable. :-)
When we were sailing in the Bahamas this winter i
thought she made it better, around 40 degrees in to the wind.
But that was a misstake. It turned out the wind
instrument was wrongly calibrated.
So 55 it is.
Not what I´m use to. That would be more like 30 or
something. And then you make miles tacking!
Now we are just going back and forth for days
getting nowhere it seems.
So, no fun.
But they say that patience and sailing is the
same.
So lets not complain any more.
It is good that it is not bad weather and the sun
is shining and we are healthy and nobody it shooting at us.
So I guess we are just fine. :-)
No pics. today I´m afraid.
Don´t feel like it and we look the same as
yesterday. :-/
