My Position as off 1622hrs 2nd June 2008 is N49deg
27.868min W004 deg 24.555 min
I have had a disaster of a mechanical nature in
that my engine has spilt all its oil into the boat. This done while charging the
batteries.
The3 cabin and cockpit floor have become like an
ice ring and is very dangerous.
I have diverted to Bret to effect repairs and a
clean up and will re enter the challenge after completing the
operation.
I am about three days sailing from Brest at present
speed.
There will be no more updates till entry to
Brest.
Further more for those with my sat phone no this
will now only be on from 1800 to 1815 hrs your time each
day.
