Hi folks
yes I have been on the summer cruise again this
time down to Plymouth via Torquay.
The sail across lyme bay was a bit trying setting
off at 0430hrs and arriving at 2130hrs yes a 17 hour sail. Beat my across with a
westerly wind in my face. Jacinta did well to maintain 3kts over ground against
tide and choppy sea.
Tues sailed to Plymouth rather motored till
Plymouth rock then sailed the last 10 miles.
Torquay marina very welcoming and helpful as are
the lads at Camber Stonehouse barracks where Jacinta is tied up for the next
week.
