Yesterday was a very nice day on the sea… good winds between 10-20 knots and speeds of 7-9 knots. The sun shone for a large part of the day and the sea gradually became calmer. We had “ordinary” meals on board and all the crew recovered after the seasickness.
The night was calm and finally the forecast was reliable. At midnight the wind we had died below 8 knots and our speed decreased to below 6 knots, at which point we motor-sailed throughout the rest of the night. This morning we woke up to the sight of Lanzarote and expect to arrive to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Wed morning.
