way to the National Park.
![]() Long climb up to El Junco Lagoon.
![]() El Junco lagoon is the only fresh water lagoon in
all of the Galapagos islands. It is inside an inactive volcano crater. There was
a lot of cloud blowing across the top.

tortoises.
![]() Babies are kept in pens, protected from predators,
until they are five years old.
![]() This aggressive baby #12 liked to nip the soft
parts of its friends. Here, it takes advantages of another's
misfortune.
![]() At five years old, they are moved to an open
enclosure.

tortoises.
