Plenty of moss on the trees beside the road on the way to the National Park.
 
 
Long climb up to El Junco Lagoon.
 
 
El Junco lagoon is the only fresh water lagoon in all of the Galapagos islands. It is inside an inactive volcano crater. There was a lot of cloud blowing across the top.
 
 
Breeding Centre for the giant tortoises.
 
 
Babies are kept in pens, protected from predators, until they are five years old.
 
 
This aggressive baby #12 liked to nip the soft parts of its friends. Here, it takes advantages of another's misfortune.
 
 
At five years old, they are moved to an open enclosure.
