A day ahead of schedule, we have arrived in Inverness, Scotland after an unusually smooth crossing of the North Sea. We had a broad reach all the way across, sailing steady at over 10 knots most of the way, with surfs up to 15 knots. The crew and ODA functioned well and we are now looking forward to entering the Caledonia Canal and crossing over to Scotland’s West coast. We will have a crew change here: Vibeke, Åse Karin and John will be leaving us, while my sister, Jeanette, and her family, Ola, Therese, Kristoffer and Jakob will be joining us tomorrow. This was a great start of our great adventure!
