Problems begin! The inverter which produces power for the lap top is not working. It probably means we will not be able to send a blog or receive position reports once it's battery discharges. May be able to get one or two more weather bulletins before it does.      

Ran the watermaker and inadvertently filled a locker and my bunk with water as a drain was closed instead of open; no major harm done – just a lot to dry out!

We have travelled 178 miles since leaving Las Palmas in 23 hours; all future daily runs will be 24 hours from noon to noon.
