Have just done our third consecutive 200nm plus day and today will be the best of all since we passed the 200 mark with an hour and a half to go. Today also sees us half way through the estimated total distance, more than half way in latitude but a bit further to go to pass the half way longitude. So whichever way you measure, we have now broken the back of the distance although still a long way out!

There is a good trade wind blowing but it is not as consistent in speed and direvtion as we supposed. There is quite a variation during both night and day and that sets up some interesting cross swells every so often to keep us on our toes. The wind last night was gusting over 30kts but has now returned to a more normal 20ish from the SE. Our course puts the wind about 30degress aft of the beam which just perfect for a fast sail.

Fresh bread just been cooked and Sunday morning bacon is smelling good being cooked under a sunny if a little windswept sky.

All well
