All good here

We are anchored in an Atoll called AHE in the Tuomotu. WE had a changeable sail down here. from 40 knots and some horrible seas to a fantastic spinnaker run. We also had flat seas and 40s which had Johan chuckling away on the helm as Liberty blistered her way along.
We sailed through a Moon Bow which as legend has it, is the gateway to Posiedon's garden or Middle Ocean. Only the bravest or most foolhardy sailors will dare to enter.
On a full moon it is a brightly lit sphere, a rainbow created by the moon. Magical.

Needless to say, the foolhardies and the courageous on board good ship Liberty agreed to enter. Like the Bermuda Triangle, few exit, only those favoured by Calypso and the great god of the sea. IF the passage is survived, the sailor is graced with life long protection by the gods of the sea and the souls of all sailors and pirates past. If not, they are never heard of again. As the sea was like a washing machine where we were ,I figured we had nothing to lose. legend or no legend. Off we went!

On sailing through the sphere, one has to pay silver pieces to Davy Jones. We duly parted with our 50 cents per man.

After an hour or two, the seas flattened and became benign. Skies were clear and we all rested well.

The following night we saw another gate, the exit! Another perfect sphere touching the seas gently at each end and quietly inviting us to approach. We sailed through once more. On checking the deck the next morning , our toll of 5 silver pieces was found on the deck.

Explain that then!
