Hi from Lancer
Over a week at sea now and still a long way to go. The wind has still not
really shown up so progress is a little slow. Yesterday saw the fridge
stocked up after a sucessful day's fishing. There is rumour going round that
a fish pie might be on the menu tonight - lets face it, it is the only way
to cook the buggers that we have not tried yet.
At the change of watch last night there was a loud wooshing sound shortly
followed by those immortal words "Oh Sh*t" Steve had caught the trigger of
his life jacket while putting it on and came up looking like Michellin Man
which I thought was highly amusing until Phil told him to take mine
instead - what do I do if we sink?
We are having a big debate about whether to change the ships time as we go
west and when and by how much. All complicated stuff as it would mean the
person on watch gets to turn in early - will report on deliberations in the
next installment...
