43:07N 009:10W Hiya from Lancer, now in a small town called Camarias, and it
has been interesting. We had a problem with the stern gland which was
leaking quite badly, and puzzled as to how to fix it called in an engineer.
He spoke no English and from his gestures we could see a big bill mounting,
but thanks to the internet we cracked it and used our euros to buy strange
looking fish for supper.We had french men helping, spaniards and scousers,
none of whom spoke english, but the thought was nice Then a yacht was
escorted into the marina by customs launch and what appeared to be a drugs
bust took place, with half the town out to ogle. Then it was siesta...
