We left Cartagena in light rain at noon and headed north east for the Balearics. Rain now stopped and washing started. The boat looks like a Chinese laundry.
Light winds for the next 24 hours but then a blow expected on the nose. We may stop off in Ibiza to let the worst blow over or just bash on the Majorca where we expect to meet Dave Fawcitt and oven door repair stuff.
Crew busy doing jobs onboard, Norman trying fishing but we are going a bit too fast for him, 7 knots.
Went past a stacked ultra deep water drill ship which until this month was working for Noble off Israel at $580,000 a day. Nice work until it stops!
