Finally we are underway towards New
Zealand,
It's been a tense couple of weeks of preparing, waiting
for weather, deciding to go and then changing our minds.
Yesterday there was a sizeable flotilla heading South so
we were not alone in choosing this particular weather window.
After 7 years of mostly downwind passaging this one was
never going to be the same but 24 hours and all is well onboard so
far.
We had dolphins come to escort us through Momi Bay pass
yesterday which is always a welcome sight and the sea state has been good so no
seasickness yet!
964nm to go as the albatross flies
