So after my last blog the weather deteriorated, we ended up reefing down to our 3rd Reef and raised our heavy weather Jib. This was possibly overkill but as it was getting dark we felt a comfortable night was the better of the options. We were still knocking out 6-7 knots, so we didn’t lose too much.  Waking up on Friday the front has passed through and we have 15 knots, white puffy clouds and a gentle swell. We downloaded the Yellow Brick Tracking data, and realised that we were in 6th. With the routing options showing a beam reach in we worked out that we could in theory get back to 3rd ( Optomistic) or 4th A bit more realistic.

Decision made time to push! 153 Miles
