We polled out the Genoa overnight and made better
than expected progress. The morning brought fresh breezes mixed with rain, it
was a hot day reaching 30 degrees plus.
There are warnings of a half submerged barrel of
oil in our area so we keep a good look out albeit the chances of hitting it in
this vast expanse of blue are minute.
The water tanks are now empty so we have to be more
careful on the water rations. All fresh fruit and meat are gone so its
cans or fresh fish from now on. We ran with the spinnaker all day so
no fishing.
