The new North Sails genona is taking a bit of
a pounding, so we opted for a sail change to lessen the wear. The
cheaper replacement is much smaller and combined with an
unfavourable wind shift that forced us too West meant overall we lost time.
We are trying to make up the lost by flying the kite for longer but a small
tear during the hoist dented this plan.
