Hi Everyone,

We had a long chat with Richard this evening. He is now at Ile de Groix, which is an island just off the French coast near Lorient.  Due to today’s weather being wet and windy (I think the correct term is unsettled!) they moored up at 2pm and fixed/played around with the engine! Even though it was raining it was 30 deg C.

After a maintenance afternoon, Richard and Chris rewarded themselves with mussels and mackerel washed down with wine, cider and brandy.

Tomorrow they are heading to La Rochelle/Royan depending upon winds as currently the wind is against them and slowing them down.

They are still enroute to Corunna, northern Spain and then the plan is onto Lisbon.

Louise

PS For those that are paying attention, I got the name of the Island wrong, this is a correction!
