Departed Marina Smir 10:30 am local Morocco time. Had a good sail with a dozen or so dolphins as we entered the straits.
The wind dropped so we motored for a few hours.
With the wind back up to 10 knots and at a good angle we decided to fly the infamous parasailor.
We had just finished saying how uneventful and forgettable sailing through the Straits of Gilbratar was when a gust of 25 knots
tore the parasailor in half!! Part of which went into the ocean and was very difficult to get back onboard.
Hopefully that was all the drama for today. After a good burrito dinner we are comfortably sailing with only the genoa up in about 15 knots of wind.
