Hi all
Arrived in the river yealm after a journey of some 26 hours. This is a lovely spot in a river estuary near Newton Ferrars. Tricky entrance over a sand bar and difficult navigation up the river to the moorings. Good job it was on a rising tide as we wandered off a bit trying to avoid all the boats. For the journey i was elected as a floating crew member and the others paired up to share shifts. After 24 hours of  clawing their fingers off the helm i did manage to get a go! Then it starting tipping it down. No one was ready to replace me now.
Tryed a bit of fishing in the dinghy but again no sign of a bite.So we remain fishless for the trip.
Time running out for our little trip .
Next stop Brixham.
