Said goodbye to Sylvie and Fred who really didn't want to return to the cold rain in Paris and hello to Isabelle and Massimo from Boston (also rather cold climes at this time of year!).
Spend a rather wet morning in Marigot after battling the wind rain and waves in Simpson Lagoon and then on to Philipsburg to anchor alongside Stars and Stripes the 12m class Americas cup winnner!
The seafront was nice with loads of duty free shops and where Nigel bought a pair of real Crocs to replace the copies bought in La Palma which had reached their useful life.
The Indian curries looked tempting but never got round to tasting one!
Cruise boats coming and going including Costa Luminosa a larger version of Costa Mediterranea which we cruised on around the Black Sea last July.
That with an email from our friend Monique starts the ball rolling for our return trip - 3 weeks Transatlantic back on the Luminosa which takes us straight to Nice for almost the same price as the airfare!
The weather is getting better and a bit warmer so starting to plan the next leg - an easy one for Isa and Massimo - to St Barths.
