Ios was wonderful for beautiful anchorages, beaches,'dougnuting', water skiing and swimming so the girls were in their element.  Life on board became very relaxed this second week with the family and Malin.  There was lots of sun and sea, eating and drinking and singing!  Ios town produced the best meal of the trip so far at restaurant 'Lord Byron'.

From Ios we went to a small island off Naxos called Iraklia just avoiding a large cable when anchoring.  Then onto a quiet anchorage on Naxos before Mike and Marie had an early start to take us north to Delos.  Here we visited more Greek ruins - Delos was a major commercial centre 2500 ago - with an oracle second only to Delphi.  Then onto Mycanos which is a busy cosmopolitan holiday resort but still a pretty town.

On Friday 3rd July Jeanette Wilker (friend from college days) and Jane Hards (Jeanette's friend) arrived and we took them for a long lunch in a beach taverna which was excellent.  Allan departed on Saturday 4 and we took the boat over to Naxos for Malin, Mike and family to leave on Sunday 5.
