Copan has incredibly well-preserved original Mayan art… A gumbo limbo tree, also nicknamed “burnt gringo” Views of the plains from the top of the Acropolis… Approaching the area known as the Ball Park, from above… Nice face! In the meantime… the rest of our class is paying attention
to Saul Giving legs a little break on the way down to the Ball Park Eric and Gayle in front of the Grand Stairway, which is covered
and not fully excavated as no good preservation strategy has been put in place
