Good Morning everyone
Slow progress overnight.We had to stop a couple of
times to rectify some problems,in addition we have the wind dead on the
nose.Have just unfurled the Genoa to make a tack to the North as I expect the
wind the veer to the NE in the afternoon.However this has set us back quite a
few hrs and its now doubtful if we can get in before nightfall tomorow.Yesterday
evening we had a modest midtsummernight celebration.We even managed a bone
fire.A carefully constructed cardboard boat was filled wit crupled newspapers
set alight and launched from the bowsprit.It burned happily as long as it was in
sight,so that was it for entertainment on St.Hans.I will write an update later
this afternoon regarding our ETA to Horta.By the way Johan if you are reading
this the missing impellers was found yesterday in the stb low compartment in a
grey Yanmar bag.It was two of them so mystery solved and Richard was
right.
