Good morning friends and followers.
Another rolly night behind us the wind ha increased
to a steady22 25 knots the waves about 3-5 meters despite of this we are making
exelent progress with a record of 148 nm from 4 yesterday till 4 this morning in
addition the 4 to 8 this morning covered 29 miles which is 7.2 knots I still
find it quite amazing considering the wave hight that we can do this speed. The
designer defiinatly knew a thing or two about how a boat should behave in heavy
seas. Now to the leg of lamb last night. The outcome was exelent. But the task
never something I would attemt again under such conditions. Now picture yourself
in one of those simulators that you see on hydraulic legs i various theme parks
simulating roller coasters or space rides. Then take a gimbaled stove and place
inside it and make a leg of lamb this is the closest I can describe the
experience.Anyway Magnar did an exelent job yesterday with extra helm watces
during the ordeal.Magnar also send a special greeting to Julian
Last night we where ovrtaken by a Greek bulk
carrier with a very helpful Chief Office that gave us a weater forecast for the
next 4 days It looks good up till the 20 but after that we will get less wind
and from ESE which is not that favourable. For the time beeing however we are
enjoying very good wind or as we say in Norwegian. God Bor
We hope to be in the vicinity of the Azores by next
Thursday. Will update ETA as we get closer and see the weather
conditions
