We just missed the warm front that we were hoping to ride quickly, instead we have been left with it warm, damp and overcast with a light wind which reminds us of the English Channel in mid summer.

 

I always find the couple of days on a long passage very stressful, my mind is of ‘what if’s’ mainly about the weather and also what could break on the boat.  So I don’t generally sleep well or enough but Claire left me off watch asleep for eight hours last night and my body clock is now functioning a lot better......but now Claire is exhausted!
