After waiting a couple of days for the UN Council meetings to finish and the East River to be derestricted we set off this morning with half a dozen other yachts making the same passage south.  The trip down though Hell Gate through New York and onto Manhattan was spectacular, we always get a thrill sailing alongside the skyscrapers.

Tonight we are running south the coast of New Jersey and expecting to make Cape May late tomorrow morning.
