>> Flight out with BA was good, we were upgraded to lots of leg room, so very pleased, a smile goes a long way at check in 😁
>>
>> We spent the first few nights at the Trade Winds Hotel, a short distance from the North Sound Boat Yard. Lots of jobs to do onboard before launch and the yard was stiffening.
>>
>> Boat launched without problems, we motored (no wind) a few hours around to Jolly Beach and anchored in just a few meters of water. A few more jobs to be done whilst at anchor and a major shop to get ashore. USD670 later and we were well stocked up.
>>
>> We then motored around to Falmouth Harbour. It’s a great place to drop anchor and watch the goings on around you. Some incredible, luxury motor yachts, cats and trimarans. The buzz and atmosphere ashore is really nice with old yachties, boat owners and crew (in uniforms) chatting over coffee. A few more jobs (its never ending for James), we walked uphill to get our 4 gas bottles filled and take the running back stays for repair....hot, hot, hot....melting! But I guess there are worse problems to have?
>>
>> We dingied over to Our favourite restaurant which sits right on the beach 🏖 and has live groups placing on the sand, with a lots of hammocks and bean bags etc dotted around....really lovely.
>>
>> We left Falmouth after 4 days excited about new ventures south....onto Guadeloupe.
