                | Baiona 42’07N 008’50W 119NM still haven’t unzipped the main!  James quote ‘We just as well
of had a motor boat so far!’ We were motoring at about 5knts when I went to bed at 10pm expecting to be
woken for my shift in 3 hours.  Was woken at 8am, apparently, we had had
squalls, lightening, head winds, fishing bobbers and fishing boats without AIS
to dodge and fuel to top up, crikey who knew?  James obviously shattered so
I magnanimously suggested I kept watch for a few hours whilst he got some
rest.  We got in and tied up by 1pm. got the bikes out and cycled along the front and into the back streets of
the Old Town.  We had a nice lazy lunch in a small square, positioned
within the old stone historical buildings with the warm sunshine upon us.
Lovely.  Not an awful lot more to see or do, although there is a huge
fortification which James fancies cycling around.  James spent the
following day carrying out numerous small but equally important jobs around the
boat, and checking engine after all the hours we have put it through! whilst I
did some physio with my dynabands, updated blog and read in the
sunshine. |
