At 12.00 today our position is 01.14.35N 85.54.63W. SOG 4.5K COG 250. Wind from the south @ 15K. We are sailing, bit lumpy, bumpy but it is cooler than it was a few days ago. We were close hauled all night so had flapping and banging of genoa to keep to our course, this gives a shuddering effect which is not conducive to sleep. We have about 230 miles to go but Northern Rose who is 65 miles away is now becalmed in 3k of wind and is drifting at 1-2k on current.
The fridge smells awful but we are rocking too much to clean it out. It doesn't help when "someone" forgets to switch the fridge back on after using the SSB! Fridge makes some interference when transmitting.
