25th Feb. So, here we are in Danga Bay Marina, just
off the tip of Singapore and a (very quick, very cheap) bus ride into Johor;
which city has really smartened itself up, now a great mixture of old - little
India et al - and modern blocks, but still with plenty of green space. Danga Bay
is great, quiet, but close to super local restaurants. But the star has to be
Ron, the Marina Manager, ex of Freo and now a walking encyclopaedia on all
things boatie. Crew change again tomorrow, offspring back to UK (not via China
as planned, just checked the weather there, brrrrr) so looks like a circuit of
Sing solo for the skipper to get to Sebana Cove and golf, tennis, pool and
Bavaria catmates to await next victim. Stay awake, that
man!
