We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our son Eric and
his family from Washington state tomorrow. The boat is shipshape.
We've planned meals and shopped for groceries. Fellow cruisers have
supplied toys, sand tools, fun ideas for our guests. I imagine we will be
busy by day, and tired at night, so we may be offline for all or part of the
week. With a four year old child in the group, the entire visit may be
spent on the beach, so we might not have much to report to you anyway.
If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around
to hear it, is there a sound made? Well, I wonder if I am that tree?
I chatter madly about our daily events, and am not sure who hears. If you
would like to report in and let me know you are listening, or to make
suggestions about what you might like to read about in future issues, you can
