Destination - Zakynthos Town, Zakynthos  N37 46.84 E20 54.91

We had planned to travel up the west side of Zakynthos and stop at Shipwreck Bay (NW Zakynthos) for lunch and then travel on to Ay Nikolaos after visiting the Blue Grotto (caves) at the North East tip of Zakynthos. However the wind forecast was for a NW 6 and we thought that it would be unadvisable as there was no shelter if the wind blew more. So we decided to retrace our steps back to Zakynthos town and then proceed in the shelter of the land up to Ay Nikolaos up the East coast of the island. We stopped for lunch at in the shelter of Zakynthos town and as we attempted to travel further up the wind was blowing a force 7 and the waves were huge. We had to turn back as it was so uncomfortable. We ate out that night and watched “Paul”.
