My position Friday 9th July at 1200UTC is 43
26.6N 21 54.3W
Last 24 hrs run was 139 miles, not surprisingly
with a good SW breeze. Took a reef in the main last night and then dropped
it altogether this morning, so we are running just under the No3. Nice
easy sailing, but the boat is rolling like a beer can in a cement mixer, most
uncomfortable. Who cares, we're going the right way at top speed!!
Though speed is a slightly overactive description our sedate pace.
I don't expect it will last so I'm not going to predict a time for
landfall just yet, though I'm sure I caught the scent of a cold beer
earlier.....nothing like a bit of motivation.
