24 Nov 20.50.90N 21.12.80W We spent today drying our gear after over 30 hours of 20=30 mph winds, rough seas and torrential squalls. Most waves overtake the boat, lifting it and twisting it off course. This requires constant correction, hard enough during the day and very challenging in the pitch dark with only instruments to guide you. This being Ted's first big boat venture = yes, in at the deep end = Linda and I helmed 2 hours on 2 hours off throughout, leaving Ted to take over for most of today when conditions improved and allowing us to recover.@@@
