Left Almerimar at 07.30 on a beautiful calm but
cool morning, the new engine is running fine but still only got 3 hours on the
clock so its run in is going to be a long one, we where going to head straight
through to Gran Canaria but this mornings weather forecast has issued a
force 9-10 warning for Gibraltar W so we have decided to have a few days
stopover in Ceuta. We started the watermaker up as soon as we got to some
clean water and have to say it is brilliant......only one leak and 100
litres per hour - it also tastes great...So we are going to be in Ceta until at
least Thursday but it gives us time to sort out the things we didn't before we
left....
In the 5 years of being in the Med, I cant remember
a sea as flat and as calm as today, maybe it was the fabulous views of snow
capped Sierra Nevada or the dolphins that stayed with us practically the whole
trip but it is certainly great to be on the move
again......
